Take your journalism career to a new level in the pristine wilderness city of Whitehorse, the capital city of the Yukon Territory.
The Whitehorse Star is a 100 per cent locally owned and operated independent newspaper with a vacancy for a journalist.
Although predominantly required for the political beat, we are seeking aa well-rounded team player, ideally interested in a variety of beats including crime, social issues, environment, and community events.
Applicant must have their own transportation.
Salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
The successful applicant is expected to produce daily content for both print and digital editions.
Experience with The Canadian Press style guide and work in a Mac environment is a must; experience with social media platforms is an asset.
Candidate must have the ability to multi-task while working under tight deadlines.
