Reporter - Telegraph-Journal
The Telegraph-Journal is recruiting for a full-time reporter position in our Saint John newsroom. We are seeking a professional journalist with a keen sense for news, an eagerness to break stories and a clear writing style. Our reporters quickly immerse themselves in assignments, thoroughly researching and reporting news and feature stories. They are enterprising and dig up stories on their own. They also work together as part of a news team to serve our readers.
This is a one-year contract position through the Local Journalism Initiative program. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering the dynamic communities of Charlotte County, including but not limited to covering council meetings, breaking news and community events. This reporter will join a team of two municipal affairs reporters that take pride in their work, help each other out and are eager to support a new member of the team.
This is a great opportunity for a dynamic and career-driven team player to join our award-winning newsroom in Saint John.
