Bio: |
I am an ambitious and enthusiastic writer who is looking to create stories that will capture the readers' attention, and leave them well-informed about any given issue. I am currently pursuing the Journalism Graduate Diploma at Concordia University and am eager to add to and expand my professional portfolio.
I have experience in researching and writing about a variety of topics, including politics, technology, business developments and crime. My work has been circulated in such publications as Supply Chain Canada, Municipal Monitor, Sheet Metal Works and the Quebec Community Groups Network.
I have experience in writing about climate change and environmental protection through a 6-month internship with Global Green News, which was run by Alex Tyrrell, the leader of the Quebec Green Party. There, I was able to write intriguing pieces about political and environmental issues, provincial and federal government policies and eco-focused activities in communities. I had the privilege of interviewing several high-ranking officials in Green Parties across Canada and the world.
My work in communications alongside seasoned former journalists has helped me gain a knowledge of CP style writing, as well as familiarity with the journalistic landscape of Quebec and Canada as a whole.
I am currently looking for freelance/part-time work. I take pride in my work, and always ensure that I deliver high-quality pieces of written work, no matter the subject, nor the deadline. |
