I began my career as a typesetter for a small weekly newspaper and began writing weekly columns for no extra pay, but only the satisfaction of writing.
I then went on to become a reporter/photographer for several newspapers and later became editor of the Sylvan Lake News.
I have several years experience covering town and county councils and school board meetings.
I also wrote an award winning weekly column which was carried by three newspapers.Some of my columns were published in other newspapers throughout Alberta.
I have enjoyed working in the print media and would like to continue doing so on a part time or freelance basis.
