I love projects that combine my background in Communications and Journalism with my other passion, which is technology.
Since moving back to Ottawa, I've spent a lot of time learning Java, Javascript, and Python -- languages which allow me to bring a client's message to virtually any platform, whether mobile device or Windows 8. Those skills add to my existing knowledge of web-based programming, including HTML, XML and Flash. I'm also proud of my audio-video production work.
In everything I do, I set out to deliver information as effectively as possible. Many clients appreciate the professional savvy that comes with a Journalism degree from Ryerson University (2006) and experience in newsrooms and corporate-communications settings.
I'm looking for full-time work; meanwhile, I'm accepting freelance assignments.
