As the leader of our Broadcast Technology team, are you ready to take APTN to the next level while we move down the multi-platform distribution path? Do you want to oversee our networks’ production and distribution infrastructure?  Your opportunity:

  •      Design, integrate and maintain Broadcast and IP systems, workflows and technologies central to a multi-platform media distribution environment
  •      Apply your strong project management skills daily, as you manage multiple, ongoing projects, you enjoy pulling all the pieces together and strive to see the end result
  •      Continue to broaden your understanding of Network protocols and standards
  •      Develop and strengthen your team through coaching, setting goals and providing feedback
  

As our Manager of Broadcast Technology, you will; 

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of file based workflows, multiple file formats for master control automation systems and media distribution
  • Thrive on building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Complete your projects on time and within budget
  • Show your passion for leading your team to success!

Qualifications

You bring:

  • Post-secondary education in: Engineering, Computer Science or Diploma in Broadcast Engineering Technology combined with proven related experience
  • Demonstrated “hands on” experience at the network level, troubleshooting and designing traditional broadcast systems with an eye toward implementing innovative and emerging technologies
  • Proven leadership, guidance and supervisory skills
  • Expertise in the area of end to end delivery
